Grindelwald is situated in a valley dominated by ice giants like the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn and of course Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Gentle alp pastures, woods, mountain lakes create an unique river landscape and beautiful alpine scenery. 

• In spring a breathtaking carpet of flowers is waiting for nature lovers – the mountain springtime with all of its famous alpine flowers is magical.
• Grazing cows, goats, sheep and pigs are populating alp pastures in summer. Do you know how to produce alp cheese?
• Autumn with its intensive colours, mushrooms, berries, fresh air and the first snow on the mountain tops allows you to feel the last warmth of the sun – the lowland will have already disappeared into the mist and fog.
